Replacing groundwires on transmission structures

I was wondering what methods you are using to replace stolen groundwires on your structures that will deter them bwing stolen again?

covers the grounds on new transmission structures. Looks like 1X1 1/4-3/8 inch wall galvanized.

20 foot unthreaded rigid would be cheap.

At least the sawsall blades would cost more than the copper scrap value.

I've worked a few places that put staples every 6 inches for the first 10 feet. That's too much work for most thieves. Some utilities are going to copper plated steel wire.
