Texas...........houston ....kind of on the outskirts...........try to avoid downtown........the people there are in their own world......suits....traffic....fancy vehicles.....corrupt lawyers,judges,sheriffs...and activist................but the woman are beautiful.at least on the outside............right down the interstate from Poot,so when we get a hurricane, both of us can be in some deep $hit:D

North Central FL. If you want slow, you have it here. The largest city near us is Gainesville. (GO GATORS!!) It's not a bad place to live really. Especially if you like the water. And there is tubing, canoeing, boating, fishing, etc. And you aren't far from either coast if you would rather be near the beaches. If you go below Orlando, you are in another world separate from up here. Faster pace and more traffic.
My husband and I grew up 50 miles northwest of here, but it's still kinda like home. Even better really. We can't imagine living anywhere else.

I live in a small town about an hour and a half drive east of Toronto. Its really quiet here, but I'm kind of looking for a small farm. With luck I'll get something that will keep me just busy enough when I retire, in about 10 or 12 years
