Went to Detroit end of last month saw them making new F 150's at the river rouge plant then went to Ford Piquette Ave plant where old Henry started making Model T's. Lot of history and mechanical stuff. The month before that did a tour a Callaway golf ball plant in Chicopee, Mass.

I mentioned this before but we took our trainees thru Cooper Power to see the way they built transformers Overhead and Padmounted very interesting and then we did a road trip to Chicago and took a tour of the S&C plant which is awesome. They show you how all their stuff is made from Fuses all the way up to Transmission switches. They have display rooms with their equipment on static display and you can operate it and watch the internal components operate. Real good for Troubleshooters because all the equipment you may come in contact with in the field is in one place. Great tour if you can get to go.

A lot of factory assembly can be seen online on YouTube. Including the manufacture of pole pigs.
