Trees and power lines don't mix. :(
Just got here and a nice little job. Just trying to source a new X arm the top part is bent to bad to straighten.... AH WELL..... Should be a giggle. :)

Yeah DH.... Cold an sunny... Great day to be a lineman. Easy faults dry and sunny. Easy access.

Finished at 1am last night. Got this fault to sort out.. And I think theres a few more waiting for us.
Drooped the middle wire to the ground. Repaired the broken bit.
Waiting on the tree cutters to make the area safe. Few trees to drop.
Chillin having coffee and a bite... Lovely jubbley.

All done... Wrapped up an heading back to our Scotish digs. Couple of hours and we will be feet up in front of the gooooogle box. Another day in paradise. :)

The wire was caught off on these..... We call them Snail clamps . Dunno wether ya use them over yonder . ????????

Ummmmm we cal them snail clamps thangs dead end shoes but ours are made a bit different.

Hey Bren,
Fault to us here in Colorado is a underground cable gone bad. Working trouble or a trouble call is what we refer to when we ae fixing storm damage.
Keep posting the pics, it's great to see how line is built elsewhere.

Sorry guys..... Your all gona have to change.. We call it faults. When on storm damage.
So I'm afraid you are all gona have to change... Consider it a learning curve. Ha ha.
