A lineman and a carpenter have lots of things in common....when doing linework never cut the wire too short....when doing carpentry never cut the board too short...you will never hear the end of it.......ever seen a carpenter on a wall...standing and eyeing both sides of a board.....if he is hanging joist....he is looking for the side with the crowne......that side has a curve that curves up-ward....the other side is usually pretty straight......when he places the board across the walls the crowne will face up-wards.......if he placed it down-wards ...you would notice the ceiling bowing down when all was completed.......now if you really want to see the good stuff, especially in an older /larger home or building go into the attic and see how the roof is braced.

I personally don't see any Correlation, or Simalarity between a Journeyman Powerlineman, and a Carpenter...at all. But maby it's me.

I don't understand half your posts anyway....

You're "funny" reppy.:)
I mean that seriously. You're "funny" dude.

Again my friend. There is NO Correlation or simliarity, between a Journeyman Lineman, and a carpenter. But..You are a "Funny" dude, and so are most of your posts.

A Journeyman Power Lineman probably, by your rational... has "similarity's" to a dogcatcher too.
Bein as we encounter alot of dogs in backyards, and therefore know how to deal with them.:)

You're "funny" man.

And, you're right poot. a Carpenters level...would not fit on my pointed head.:)
It would sit real well on yours though. Being it's Flat.:)

Actually Swamp there is alot in common.....one thing in common is common sense, which I can explain to you if needed......now for an example when a carpenter cuts a piece of facial board
at a 45 degree angle, the next board butting in to it would also have to be at a 45 degree angle right?.....so he would adjust the bottom plate of his electric saw to the opposite 45degree angle.....no Swamp heres how he would avoid making that move....he would just cut the next piece of facial board in the opposite direction.....its quite easy....its like looking into that mirror ,which I know you did and looking at that bubble,,,making sure that it is in-between the lines on the level.
