info about co-ops

I know pretty much about nothing when it comes down to co-ops,the way they operate,so I want to ask a couple of questions..# 1..do you guys have your own dispatchers or does your dispatched orders come from utility personal,and if you do have your own dispatchers...what do they do when you have a slow day....another thing that I want to ask is about the lines that you guys work on......are they being leased /or who owns them......can you give us some more info about how the whole picture kind of works......I do thank you guys that post,and i have heard some interesting comments from you guys......before I leave, more question one.....when working on primary who do you get with to put the circuit on one-shot/ worktag....or what is the process.

i work for a coop in central Texas, we have our own scada control center, so we have to call them to get a feeder put on hot line tag. we own about 11,000 miles of line, have about 88,000 members. we are not as big as the Inverster owned, or some Muni. put we are real big into technolgy alot of our down stream have scada control, so our dispatchers stay pretty busy.
