cooking some ribs,brisket,sausage on this hot Texas day....thinking hard about getting some fajitas& hot sauce......what are you serving today Poot?Have any of that Texas Joy?

ummmmmmm Today is Cream of raisin soup, served up with some of Milwaukees finest and ummm some belly washes for the grandbrats. Everbody dun left to go have fun, n left me in charge of the dreaded critters. They wont eat nuffin cept crap anyways. Later this evenin it'll be Ground turkey, pan sausage, n hammerburger all mixed up with a lil shredded cheeze ana few jalapenos, n made into patties n grilled onna grille wif some Buns to build PawPaw burgers.Anybody wont eat them is crazy inna hedbone

I know the feeling....when your talking care of the young ones,beer can be your life saver....by the way ,what is Milwaukees best..is it Blatz,miller light,pabst blue ribbon or Schultz?.....you didnt mention no Tex-joy or pork ribs..........you do know when women go out for fun,they usually stop at Walmart......that was always fun to me when I was married.....drinking alone while the wife spent my hard earned money at Walmart.

Ummmmmmmmmmm miller High life iz most definately The finest Milwaukee has to offer. As to the Texjoy ummmmmm well lets just say there aint never gonna be a day when I aint got plenty of that stuff. If they went outta business tomorrow I would still be Okay fera few years.I start ever day wif their coffee( seaport between dark n medium roast) n end em with summa their spices in my supper. I jus dunno how them Poor deprived Yankees survive without it.

Ummmmmmmm I jus shredd me a head of cabbage and bout 3 carrots n ad em to maybe a half or a quarter cup of sugar n some salad dressin n then add tad of vinegar n sum folks put raisins innit. It aint bad once it gets a lil chill onnit.I have et it with nuts innit too.

That sounds about like I would make it Poot. I do want to try chopped apples in it. Sounds like yankee food, but I kinda like it with raisins and apples. Is that how you fix it T-Man? :D

My mind is wondering off....ummm a margarita sounds great,even a cold strawberry margarita sounds good.....a mudslide would be good..maybe a long-Island ice tea....perhaps some cuervo,chilled to the bone...and some miller light......oh,forgot I dont drink much anymore....i might have to start again.....any good drinks Mrs.Art....any rain yet?

Yeah we. Bar b q. Over here. Not so much at my house coz we don't eat red meat .

Its more about drinking and socialising at the holidays. :)

I'm not much of a drinker and for a reason. :D I will have an occassional beer or when going out a margarita. That's about it for me.

Rain? So far we have 2 inches. Not much, but expecting more.

I've been around the world a few times ..... I've eaten stuff you wouldn't. Believe. Including , frogs, kangeroo , crickets..... And even DOGS !!! Spit roasted alsation and labradour. NICE !!!!

But not any more, fish and chicken . NO red meat. I've had mexican . Cajun , indian, scandinavian . Maori. . Aint much I aint tried.

Your so right, I dont think I want to try kangeroo or dog,or crickets,I never ate c-rations when I was in the service....arent crickets related to roaches.....did you eat the head like crawfish?:nightmare:
