$90.00 for how long? Do you pay for sewage too?
My water bill runs $150. for 3 months and that includes the sewage bill too. They go by the water meter for the sewer bill. They think if it goes into the home through the meter IT MUST GO BACK OUT INTO THE SEWER. But I have a pool and a veggie garden so they take some off my bill.

its for 1 month, the city always adds something new.....you may call it sewer, they call it drainage....the city is in a bind so they find ways to get cash.....its just a metter of time when they will need a permit for having a garage sell......there is a smll town outside of houston that make people get a permit for garage sells.....they charge around 20 bucks...for you to have a garage sell.........another trick is our beltway....it runs in a circle around houston.....years ago they said it would be free when it was paid off....well that was during an election......so when they got elected ,the people are still paying tolls even though the toll road is now paid for,,,,has been for years

Zero here also. :D And Charlie is stingy. He probably had much more rain than me. I think we received close to 4 inches. Very thankful, but not near enough.

Zero = bullsh!t, it cost you to pump it topside and the power to do so, plus the cost of your well pump, the cost of drilling the well, testing your water is not cheap, so lets hear your totals now.

I posted my electric bill aready. My well cost me just over $2000 and that was 27 years ago. We've tested out water 3-4 times and it was like $10. So doing the math, I'd guess less than $15 per month. And it doesn't taste like chlorine!

Well seeing as how ya'll had to get all down to the penny :D, my well was put in over 30 years ago for about $1500.00 used it strictly to water livestock for years till I moved down where I'm at now, It still serves to water the livestock and our home and garden etc, etc, uses about $10.00 worth of electricty a month, pulled the drop pipe out 1 time and replaced the check valve, it's been a good one.

I'm sure it's expensive there Lood. You can actually drive your own well here if you so desire. You can hit water at 60 feet, but my well is 227 feet.

My well came with the place. But, I must say it's mighty different than back home(we still own our other home). You drill for the well and unless you run it more than usual, the light/electric bill is the same. Here we aren't using the water much. HOWEVER, we have sulfur so we do have to purchase bags of salt. I've not calculated how much difference it is than compared to our homeplace well. I'm sure it's way more. I sure miss it----like Duck and Charlie would! It's not as good as back home well water, but I have gotten use to it. Either way, it worked out(our move ten years ago) we might pay more, but in the long run the Boss makes more income. So, I guess it's a wash---sorta--kinda.

The well next door is 580' of 8" well casing to bedrock then another 42' after that before they got 6 gallons a minute. Now the submersible pump is at the bottom of the well with the hose plus the 240 volt #8 wire. Now this well must be tested once a year. As you can see wells are not cheap!

No wonder it so expensive, you're dang near importing it at that depth!
