Just moved today to a new town. ( So we are close to new job)
Its a pretty little town called Inverary. It only has one main street but that's got all we need, couple of restraunts ( one indian) a few bars , couple of hotels and a few shops.
Aint much but the scenery is stunning. We've rented a 2 bed cottage. With FREE WI FI.... So all is good. :)

These small towns are all the same.... In a few days every one will know our names an where we are from..... Thhe towns folk are normally very welcoming.
Except on one job. We built a tower line through Yorkshire "northern England"
We went through one of the most beautiful Valleys . (Well it was before we ruined it putting a massive 400 kva quad line through it ).
It took years of planing to get this route . AND THE LOCALS were not happy.
We couldn't get served in the local stores or bars even.
We even had to use a "plain, hire vechicle" to get our shopping so they didn't know the guy driving it was with us.... And even then he had to shop miles from the work site. I was up there for nearly 2 years. The locals wouldn't even talk to us.
Our vans were always being damaged at night. Broken windscreens and slashed tyres. I was glad to get out of that place..... Bad vibes all the time. :(
And as for working in Northern Ireland when the "troubles " were on. That was scarey.
We had to check under the vans in the morning with mirrors in case they had put a bomb under it..
Even got run off a couple of sites by masked gunmen....
So moving to a little quite fishing village with a population of about 200 souls. Aint so bad.

I was up on the pier with the "locals " earlier today swampy and they reckon at the moment there is between 30 and 35 foot diference between low an high tide.
As we are staying here for at least 6 months gona try my hand at a bit of sea fishing.
I will watch the locals for a few eves and then give it a go.
Can nearly cast from my bedroom window..... Huckleberry fin style. :)

I have been to Nova Scotia rode the Cabot Trail on my bike, but I have not been to the Bay of Fundy, maybe another time. It is around (1600 kms 1000 miles) from home.

Gotta love them small towns, it's like the show cheer's, sometiemes you wanna go where everybody knows your name. That picture of the boats on the beach makes me think of Portmeirion, that little town the old show "The Prisoner" was filmed in. Ya ever been there Bren? Looks like a good place for a vacation.

I've been to port merrrion a few times. Very weird place. And it is still like being on the set of prisoner. ( I'm old enough to remember, patrick magoon as number 6 ) .
I will pass close to it on my way to Silverstone ( for the moto gp). I go through Snowdonia national park and portMerion in on the North side of the Park. Fantastic "bike roads" through that part of Wales...... :)
And Swampy I will take a pic with the tide fully in and out to show the Differrene..... Its a Loch that's Very deep because it was formed by a Glacier in the ice age.
So the tide is pushed through a very deep but narrow passage. ( That sounds rude). :)
