Lets say you have a call during a storm you arrive there, chances are you already know the hospital is with-out power, its happens to be a 3 phase dip,............ do you call for a three phase urd crew to look take over or do you make the decision and shoot the dip.....its your call and your all alone...so make that decision.

Ummmmmm round here Hospitals are always on a trunk feeder. Ummmmmmm there is always a dual feed with an automatic throwover scheme also. N if that aint enuff they also have a humongous big generator. All of this stuff goes thru a test run at least once a month to insure its working properly.

Always have an alternate feed on hospitals here..... After trouble shooting the problem I would call for the opropriate crews.....

Same here. All of the hospitals in this area have dual, sometimes triple feeds. Always take the time to troubleshoot it as much as possible. If I know the hospital has transfered, I'll try and troubleshoot it. Most if not all hospitals here would never be fuse protected anyway. Maybe a small clinic might be.

Hospitals have two feeds, use the fault wizard, banging cable is a waste of time
