Yeah I have used one of them and it will get a lot of vegetation and vines down pretty quickly, but be careful cause that mother will cause you to burn something down if your not careful :D especially when you have a pole overgrown so bad you can't see the pot or the secondary's, them big claws make it pretty easy to hook something you didn't want to when it's on the end of a pogo stick.

Ummmm we wudda used a chemical called Pathfinder and sprayed the base of those vines. In a weeks time they would all be brown and in a month gravity and the wind would blow em down. But I understand you dont always have that kinda time to clear up a circuit.

I've got one, but haven't used it yet. One of the other guys at work says it works good, and is also great for getting a limb off a line. There used to be a lady that insisted on planting Wisteria vines by the anchor at her transformer pole so the vines would grow up the guys. I got called out about 2 in the morning once to get her lights back on. I layed the bush axe to the vines at the ground, pulled the vines down from around the transformer riser with the extendo stick, and spilled a whole gallon of chainsaw gas around the anchor. :D Never had no more problems outta them vines!

I've used one, I bought it after the ICUEE a couple years ago. I think it works well. We've since put them on some other trucks.
