I would guess it would be around 100 per hour,Poot might have better info on that one...while I was setting meters as a contractor for the local utility I was told they were making 250.00 per meter.....its high but I can see that ....lets say you set 20 meters in one day ,it adds up and your making big time bucks for the contractor.I do know even a temp. service cost more than you would think. The company still wins....they are not paying for your days off, benifits ,sick days ,ect.

ummmmmmmmmm a hundred an hour Mite cover the linemans wages n benefits but it aint gonna touch fuel and equipment costs. I suspect that should be done by the day or week or possibly month anyways.I know a digger derrik here is leased for around 2500 a month and they charge the customer a lil over 3 k for a 40 hr a week month. additional time means more money for the truck.Aside from fuel theres insurance which aint cheap.

We are supplied from certain companys.... This diggger is supplied for 2400 per month ( uk sterling) we supply the fuel and the driver.... Its deliverd and picked up at the begining an end of the job. BUT ! If it needs to be moved around the roads by a truck... They do it ( £200 ) per time..

All I will say is ....... I could hire this machine for half the price....

But the decision is out of our hands.......

The guy that's in charge of the "hireing". Seems to go on some mighty fancy holidays every year. (And drives a NICE CAR ))). Make your own conclusions.. ;)
