Ummmmmmmmmmm truth is that i dont think fera minute that any of the guys that usually post here have that attitude. I think they are here to expand their knowledge and broaden their horizons. Sharing pics, methods, and ideas just helps accomplish that goal.Tall poles, short poles, No poles ...the end result is the same.......... power delivered to the masses thru our efforts, skills, and knowledge.

I dont think he would put an american flag up on a pole, now a bananna thats different,Bren might have started something there.

Fancy type of bucket there, what kind is it anyway?

it's an altec 105 ft'er, has 2 elevators, we have 5 of them out here now for the stringing crews i believe...

This is my first job out of my apprenticeship that i got back in April, doing a 30 mile 230kv line for a wind farm in Kansas. poles range from 90-140 ft. Funny you mention the rain Bren, when i sent them to you, i actually got let out early from the rain. :) Bren wanted me to show the H structures we are building for comparison sake( we had to set those H structures instead of normal single poles because of the extra height required over the supposedly endangered oak trees)... so far it's been a great experience, and even though the job is coming to an end and im bummed about it, im looking forward to the next one.
