Back in 2010 we got a memo that the clearance from our distibution lines to cranes and signs was moved from 10 feet to 20 feet. I have been trying to find documents to back that up, can anyone help me with that?

If yours is twenty feet it must be a state code because Virginia is still just ten feet. Didn't see a state listed for you.

I think someone has confused NESC clearance requirements with OSHA's new crane rules.

usually the Utilities are built in a predetermined Right of way. Anyone operating a cane or arial device or installing a sign and or structue needs to abide by clearance zone rules. Before I retired that was 10 feet. 20 feet of clearance is going to make for a whole bunch new work. . .
