Has anyone ever seen cts installed at a residence? Ive seen it done one time,turned out to be a turn-down,its not allowed here.Maybe it is allowed in other places.

we used to run all of our 400 amp services with a ct setup, now we only use 320 amp self contained for residential

Ummmmmmmm I only know of one residential place with Ct metering. It wuz a parallell 500 service fed from a 100 KVA urd transformer. Whoever hooked it up mismatched the phases in each CT resulting in a minimal billing even under a heavy load. I got the job to correct that and the rich folks that lived there wernt too happy for the outage or the higher billing.
Normally we used a 320 amp self contained mtr can

I might have seen a 500 service,but parallell 500,no I havent seen that one before.
