We've piled every thing needed on to the poles... Only the cross bracings to go on.

The helicopter can only lift about a ton... THINK WE ARE GETTING CLOSE TO THAT.....

He has to lift the H POLES out in two halves as it is. And we assemble them up the mountain.

Assuming the helo picks up the load on what looked from the earlier video as a long line what options does the pilot have to dump the load if it all goes a bit wrong ??

Can he release the long line from the aircraft or is it a case of hover until someone can get to the load and unhitch it ??

The only aircraft I've worked with are RAF SAR during my spell looking after HM coastguard and the air ambulances, never had any involvement with a load hauling arrangement.

He's an experienced pilot .... They haul one ton bags of rock up mountains all day every day... Their company also transport live fish for the fish farms...

His options are quite limited ... He can't jettison the load...
But as its very sparcely populated...and no houses or buildings to worry about.... He can make a rapid decent to drop his load....
He also only flies as high as he has to clear trees etc... The higher he goes the more fuel he's burning... And therefore cutting his profits.....

If you imagine the impact on a helicopter that dropping one ton would have...
The shock loading alone would be incredible with such a sudden change of force on the aircraft.
The guys trying to keep up with him on the mountain to un sling the load would love if he could release the load from the helo then we could just sit in the truck and drink coffee and watch the show.. But unfortunately we gotta keep up with him... :(
