Has anyone here ever built a distribution circuit over a large body of water?Possibly a large river, I would think a river such as the Mississippi would have transmission strug over it instead of distribution, but I dont really know.Anyone have to pick up wire going across a river,a gorge? If any one of you ever goes to Las Vegas,I suggest going to Hoover Dam,some of the highline towers actually go horizonal feeding from the hydro electric dam,its a sight to see,or if you ever get the chance to see the Royal Gorge in Colorado, the way they build those suspension bridges are pretty cool, its only over a thousand feet above that river.

In downtown st.louis there are some extremely large transmission towers for the lines crossing from missouri to illinois and vice versa across the mississippi river. They have stair cases that run in the middle of the tower itself. They're painted red and white stripes all the way up. Very large
