stirring up the pot ll

Lets say your a one man crew,either the dispatcher or a foreman has sent you to help another crew that is from a different area,you will be helping them pick up some pea- vine.You drive to their location and see that they have already started in a backyard.This line is behind a 3/0 line fuse,you ask if they have grounds installed,one of them replys yes,you help pick up the wire and your finished with that part.You get into your truck and follow them to the fuses,in your mind your fixing to remove the grounds,but they drive up to the linefuses and begin closing them....now it is perfectly clear that there was never any grounds.......this might stir the pot a little,but it actually happened years ago,not exactaly the same way but it does happen out there.

I don't know all of the circumstances of this job, but if they were using EPZ grounding, the grounds wouldn't necessarily be at the line fuses, did you ask to see the grounds?

Here we have always taught if you can't see the grounds they don't exist. I have never chewed on a man because he wanted to take the time to see the grounds.
