With the drought,and the lack of rain they say the Mississipi River is low in spots,barges bottoming out,ect....so they are trying to put less wieght on the barges......cnn reported that taking 12 tons of weight off one barge,raises the barge 1 inch....just a fact.

:They just started dredging operations here around st. Louis to deepen the channel through the river. All the rivers in the area are LOW, we need like two solid weeks of rain. I wouldnt even complain
