For you shoppers...how many stores did you have to go to when you bought school supplies this year, did you get what you needed, did you get confused with all those crayons, these days they only have 80,000 different types. How about the paper ,the binders, wide ruled, college ruled and all that b/s...where did you shop? was it crowded enough for you? I bet you needed a drink after all that shopping and if you havent shopped for school supplies yet.......good luck.

Most supplies are pretty generic these days. Atleast they are here. Teachers still have a class lists, but most of that is middle school. The bigger supply list is at elementary grades.
I will say this, I'm always glad after Labor Day. That's when all the whoopla of school starting has died down.

I noticed the other day in the store I was in, there was a carousel with paper lists of supplies and each bunch was headed for the school the list pertained to. So if your kid went to a certian school and they didn't bring their list home there was a proper list at the store for your childs school and a correct list of supplies they need for whatever grade they are in. I thought that someone was thinking for a change. . .

Sounds like you took a trip to walmart.School supplies is a money making business, when you look at the big picture we spent billions. But what are we getting back, they say this country is almost last in education.Im willing to bet that you cant wait to do it all again next year.:D

I took my grandson last year and we had a devil of a time getting the exact things on that list. It was almost a list made of what wasn't there! But we managed and spent enough for the kid to go to college like you said. I just know those lists, right or wrong were at the store the other day Oh and by the way, I haven't volunteered to take my grandson shopping for school supplys this year, yet. . .:D
