How many times have you seen an employee leave a utility and come back to the same utility? Here its rare,their was a woman the did it few years back,guess she left and got some higher education,well she came back as a area manager,a step above the supervisor.Now I have to give her credit,she was somewhat classy and could speak well in front of people and she did look nice,until she posed with a hardhat and a pair of 7200 volt gloves:D.It just didnt look right.**** I still wonder how she got back with the utility,not only that,she became a VP...vice president,thats pretty good.....guess a hurricane doesnt have nothing on her when it comes to ...well you know...another person that came back recently was a truck driver,he retired about 3 years back,I cant complain about the guy,he was darn good,and usually hauled poles.But I do wonder what the company gave him for coming back out of retirement.

aye reppy,the company i work for has rehired quite a few past empolyees and brought them in for or on diffrent rates of pay than previous,the most dangerest thing i know of is some of these guys have left linework(some for a lot of years )and managed to blag it bag in to the company even to better positions and even been put in charge of some linecrew:confused:

From what Im seeing and from what I know,the companies should do more of that,THAT kind of change might be what is needed,even if its to let the guys know how good they have it.But mostly because of the experience they can bring with them.I know that when I worked as a contractor my relationship with the supervisors and foreman was better..Id be in there office almost every morning,on a walk in when you want basis.The other guys seemed to avoid them,maybe fearing them a little.Personally Id like to see it,but do have doubts.
