Ummmmmmm have ya noticed all the Hype placed on this last tiny little storm called Issac?
It Occurs to me in my headbone that there is mucho money to be made by hyping a storm up. Just think of all the preprededness stuff sold in the wake of a storm. Batteries, candles, canned goods, Bottled water.Generators, Plywood. screws and nails, the list just goes on n on.I suspect just the sales taxes paid on that stuff izza bundle.....Theres more money to be made when folks are told to evacuate........ hotels, resturants etc all stand to profit, and I noticed the price of gas spiked a nickle a gallon over night for this last lil storm......... i kinda suspect that it was made from crude oil that cost the same as the stuff they used a week ago. I also suspect the gas was refined well before the storm so why the spike?Werent the windfalls from both Florida and Louisiana enough? What I aint figgered out yet is jus who gets the ball rollin by hyping it soo much?
Issac is bout all Ive heard fera week n we aint so much as got a drop of rain yet......... Lotta money spent fer nothin I reckon

We see some of the effects way up here in Canada, the price of gas went up 5 to 10 cents per liter. Thats 20 to 40 cents per gallon. It makes no sense nut it is the excuse they try to use.

The big difference with this hurricane is that its a slow moving one, today they are saying 8mph...tons of rain in one area...Im way west of it and they are saying we might get some rain and winds today.Ill take both.:D

After Katrina and all the blame that went around, people are going to continue to do this. I think it's the boy crying "wolf" but I hope not. Noone will be able to say they didn't know anymore.
