Why would you want 2400 delta on the low side?

Most of the village where I will be going is 2400 delta. They are putting a new diesel generator in and will supply 7200 eventually to the whole village.

I tend to agree with Poot, although around here the trend is away from delta secondaries. All new 3 phase banks are built wye-wye and the customer has the secondary neutral available if desired.

Of course 3- 50kva cans isn't that much load, why not just simply convert the load to 7200v?

Its an Alaskan native village. Most are delta but they are slowly being converted. Like some one else said... I guess it would be wired the same as any other wye delta bank.
