We is all at home for a few weeks.. ( unpaid leave ) ...
UPDATE..... We Got us a lawyer , and she's gonna see what can be done about bringing a " constructive dismissal case" ... What they done to us is ILLEGAL.. In UK law ..
So we are trying to get some compensation.... ...
We are starting for the new company ( ironically called FREEDOM ) on Monday the 8th of October.
Gonna be able to rent a place between us long term.. The area we will be working in is a bit smaller and there is a better road system so if we get a central location we shouldn't have to keep moving.. We will also be able to travel back and forward on the ferry as foot passengers . It's a 3 hour crossing and ya don't have to pre book...
So it's all good at the moment,,,
Working my way through the list of jobs that have built up from being away for so long... Nice to be at home. I can catch up with the chores... ( my missus has a long list for me )
Be glad to get back up a pole for a rest. :)
Wales is the UK,S biggest grower of BANNANAS ... And they grow wild In the foot hills of mount Snowdonia.... And in most Valleys of Wales..

Here's what it says in UK LAW about constructive dismissal ....
When they showed up on LAST WENSDAY ... They told us that two of us would be in Aberdeen on Monday.... Two guys were demoted and ... our contracts were being changed " without negotiating " .... ( it's as if they were trying to tick all the boxes in constructive dismissal law. )
You only have to be in breach oh one of the RULES.. To make a claim.. " they've made it rather easy for us.."".
.................................................. .................................................. ......................................
UK DEFINITION .
What is constructive dismissal?
Constructive dismissal is a form of dismissal. If you resign from your job because of your employer’s behaviour, it may be considered to be constructive dismissal. You would need to show that:
Your*employer has committed a serious breach of contract
You felt forced to leave because of that breach
You have not done anything to suggest that you have accepted their breach or a change in employment conditions
Possible examples of constructive dismissal
The reason for leaving your job must be serious - there must be a fundamental breach of your contract. Examples include:
a serious breach of your contract (eg not paying you or suddenly demoting you for no reason)
forcing you to accept unreasonable changes to your conditions of employment without your agreement (eg suddenly telling you to work in another town, or making you work night shifts when your contract is only for day work)
bullying, harassment or violence against you by work colleagues
making you work in dangerous conditions
Your*employer's breach of contract may be one serious incident or the last in a series of less important incidents that are serious when taken together.

Good luck at the new employer and with your discharge case!
Thanks for the good wishes...
But I've been doing this job for awhile now.. And experience tells me. That what will happen is.
OUT OF THE FRYING PAN...INTO THE FIRE..
We will get more money and worse conditions. Or safety will be better but longer hours...
It's never perfect.... And if it was " us linesmen " would still moan..
But it's never boring .... :D

Go get 'em Bren. The main thing is you stood up for what is right and fair. Today there is way to many yes men. If some of us didn't stand up just imagine the state of working conditions.
