Just curious,what was your apprenticeship like...we didnt have buckets,now we did use diggers,but all work was done out of hooks,didnt matter if the job was 27 poles or a 120 pole job.Do you think that is a good way or not.How do the so called lineman schools do it,are they allowed to use buckets,and if so is that the best way?How should apprentices learn....Ill be honest,all the poles we climbed I can say we were blessed not to have the Squeeze forced upon us.

Ummmmmmmmm ever pole had my name onnit n I ALways hadda tote the handline. Ummmmmmmm n if the werk wuz outta my classification I was there to watch ever lilthang ummmmmn sumtimes all I cud do was put stuff on the handline n take stuff off n hand it over to the J man ummmmmmmmmm n more often than not he wud talk to me while we wuz werkin n splain ever lil thang
