Turns out my missus,s cousin is a line patroller over yonder... He lives in Oklahoma. And he's patrolling Texas at the moment...

From the pictures he sent me ( on face book ) you guys ain't performing up to scratch...

1. Lightening strike
2. White line is supposed to be ground level..
3. Bit of a lean on this pole..


So pull your socks up guys MY SPY IS WATCHING YOU...

I wonder if I can get my American cousin to get me a Poot Texan banana pic for the

" BANNANA FILE " ?

Yeah baby,,, I'm going international ... Yeeeeeeee haaaaaaa... :D

Yea,Bren needs to come to Texas......no potty,no worry,no outhouse no worry....miles and miles and miles away from anything.......you get used to it Bren.....its our law.

Looks like yall need someone out there..... With all the faults he's finding. :)

He's an ex marine.... So I think he will be able to cope with the lack of " faciliitys "

I might skip wales and head out over the pond..... Seems like he's getting plenty of work to be sorted. :). Mind you .. Think I will need a bucket truck before I tackle these poles. Or I might put a new pole up beside them an transfer it over "HOT".

When in Rome.... Etc etc... :D

He likes patrolling... He ain't a linesman... He enjoys walking miles , following lines and finding the spurs ( t offs ) .. And Poot if the marines are anything like the " special forces" .... They poop in a plastic bag..and take it with them., its not only a case of " NEVER LEAVE A MAN BEHINED" It aplys to poop as well.... :)

I thought those plastic bags were for dogs,but anyway....he doesnt just bury it with a shovel?? times have changed....bears can $hit in the woods,mankind has to have a bag.....I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUSPOSED TO BE ABOUT A SPY? Whats this guys name ...peppy La PUE?

So what's the problem lot of that stuff shown is typical of the lack of maintenance that goes on here in Conn. and unless the politicians do something to get the Co. to hire some more help it's going to get worse. Down 40 lineman since last years storms that had hundreds of thousand of people out for over a week, Co. won't hire people, have to make sure new CEO gets his 9 million plus bennies. Couple of years before I retired found some poles that the phone Co. condemned and set that CL&P hadn't shifted, they were set 23 years earlier, not some back yard service poles these were 23 kv 3 phase main line poles, hows that for a maintenance program!

My relation is doing his part.... He's patrolling and giving them the information... If they fail to act on the info.... It ain't his fault...

He is working for a company called " osmose utility services inc" Formally known as osmose
Wood preserving.... Dunno if any of you guys across the pond have heard of them..???????

He's doing hammer and drill testing... I think they probably boran treat them as we'll

He seems to work all over Texas and a few other states as well...

Suites him walking miles on his own...:) He probably needs a break.. " when he was over in Dublin a few weeks ago I brought him for a spin on my bike " .....scared a marine I did. ) :D
