I was just kind of thinking of something to post, daydreaming really....I happened to look up and I dont know why....well I saw a single overhead transformer,on the bottom bolt opposite side of the transformer there it was....an eye nut with some 4/0 secondarys, jacked up really tight.....what did somebody attach to the eye nut in your case?

if someone attaches anything to a trans. bolt, and i have to go and change out the pot, i will hunt them down, drag them to the job, make them change it out in a set of hooks. lol . trans bolts are for transformers only and thats all.

I work with a guy at my shop, no joke. He will go out on a job and then another crew goes out later in the week to finish his job and stupid **** like that is done, cause its how he likes it is what he says. Even if we go out on the system and see similar **** like that done we always know who did it. Thats just one more thing to have to mess with in a middle of the night or storm change out. We had some old timers that would ground three wire brackets for open wire secondary to.

I used to work with Charlie's brother, and he would always hang an eye nut on the back of a transformer bolt because it was easy. But then when we went out on a transformer outage and it was a CSP he would reset the handle on the transformer and break the overload light with his pliers. When the call came in again of a outage at that address Charlie's brother would not take the call.

To give you guys something to laugh about...I once worked with a helper from Oklahoma.I named him Gomer...he tried to teach me how to bond a pole, and I think it was a plain in-line pole....I dont think he knew what a birthmark was....but somehow he did have a CDL....I THINK.

Back in the late 80's I moved up to appr. and we hired a new grunt. He came in on his 2nd day wearing shorts. He was sent home to change and later that day we were running up to the store to grab some lunch..the boss said you have 29 minutes.. and we asked the new guy if he wanted to ride with us and he did. Anyway, When we got back to the jobsite he said his lunch 1/2 hr started now since he brought his lunch from home. Did not see him on the 3rd day.
