Do you guys have any suggestions for study material to help me understand and learn my banks better? I have only been in linework for a year now and the guys I work with know how to make them work but would rather glove and move 34.5 than work secondaries and x formers.

Preferably online study material

Keep two sets of transformer drawings, study them. When driving around ask questions when you see a bank....the tie will tell you alot...is it grounded or floating. How many bushings do you see on the secondary side....two on each transformer will usually indicate its 277/480 ....lots of small things like that....dont be in any rush,it will all come to you with time...it will be like opening your wallet and telling the difference between a 100dollar bill and a one dollar bill...it becomes that easy.
