My mate Scott was busy yesterday changing a pole. SCOTT worked with us uo in Scotland for a few years. He left to go to this firm " duttons " because it was closer to home. Anyway here's Scott at work .

The pollys with the jumpers mid span we call a " flying section " It enables them to switch the line out mid span ... Only allowed use them in a few areas.

Looks like a fine understanding young man....by the way......I twaught I saw a Jeep bucket truck.....guess my eyes are going bad.

With outriggers no doubt....without pads no doubt...without a ground cable in sight no doubt.....but its a great idea,that could have been used here many many times....except a few would use them to go mudding.

Hey Bren,overall how is the new company treating you guys.Can you give us the likes and the dislikes....No company has only the likes part,there must be something that you dont agree with or something new that you havent seen before.

Tomorrow Reppy . Working a ten day shift. So in tomorrow . ( Sunday ) will have time after work. Shud be asleep now. :(

Yes you should be sleeping,I noticed that you often stay online in the wee hours.Its 952pm here so that would make it about 452am there...and you wont have much time before you have to wake up....not to tell you your business...but sleeping can be good for you....the body needs rest...I happen to love sleeping....a good deep sleep.

The magor difference is that the new company has less B.S. They want to get the job done. SSE talked the talk but wouldn't let us walk the walk.
It was like trying to work with one hand behined ur back. They were a massive utility playing at contracting. Every thing took weeks to order and the planing was woefull. The difference now is we need gear ...they pull out all the stops to get it. If we are supplied rapidly we can crack on with the build. SSE couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery.

Failing to plan is planing to. Fail.
