I am with Par.They have all excellent supervision with good common sense. I am blessed. We work the Northeast US. I think there are only two construction outfits with three crews apiece. Its all transmission. But we are family. We work hard for eachother. I work non stop because my supervision does too. I havent seen this in a long while. I used to be a union rah rah guy, these guys are hated in halls because they put the good workers on portability. But its the only place where there is no games. You just bust your ass and they appreciate it. I am not a transmission hand, but I am learning. Right now, we dont know where we are going to work because everybody ran out of money in the northeast, all the power companies blew their budgets. We might be transferrrd out to other parts where the books are open. I found Par, transmission has always been a good work experience aleays. And they take care of all their people groundman to lineman.
Hey Bobbo, that sure sounds like a great company you work for. What part of the country are you in?
