My name is justin i am 23, graduated from high school and right after started at a junior college taking industrial maintenance. After two semesters i recieved my certificate and started working for a food processing plant. I now have five years maintenance experience and feel i am strong mechanically, but also in electrical troubleshooting with three phase motors, powerflex drives, motor starters contactors, and relays ect. I thought that this would be the career for me as ive followed in my fathers footsteps, but i find my self bored with the same day to day routine break downs and pm inspections. The same depressed mechanics who due the bare minimum to get through an eight hour shift . I just want something more, something challenging, exciting. Ive just recently applied for a spot in power pathway lineman apprentice program through pg&e and am praying i will get the oppurtunity, if i dont i will not stop trying because i do believe this is what im meant for.
