While technology is a wonderful thing it needs to be balanced with common sense which does not appear in many management teams nowadays. Case in point, the Co. is closing service centers and selling off the properties their argument is they brought in an {expert} that used a google earth type program that showed they could respond to the same areas from the consolidated centers in about the same time frame. [Buzzer sound] Wrong answer failed to take in the twice daily traffic "worst in the Northeast" or the winter weather "spelled gridlock" and because of the numerous train bridges in the area with 10' clearances that don't show on the program. The Union is trying to stop this stupidity but the execs. say its our decision and we're in charge. Time will tell and the customer will suffer and the politicians will still collect their money.
