living on the road

Hey all! I have been doing Construction Line work for two different utilities over the past 10 years, and am wondering what its like to join the union and live on the road and take my family with me....Two girls and wife, we'd like to buy a cocker of a fifth wheel and truck and make a life out of it for 5-10 years. Has anyone out there done this and what's it like? Th is something we have alwas wanted to do...Travel!!

Go luck with it mate. It's a good idea if it suits the type of people you are. I've been working away over 20 years never did it occur to take the better half with me . She's a home bird and likes her own nest. It works for us that way.
