Hi just wondering if someone can help me. We have a delta primary and 1 single phase transformer is connected to A and B phase on the primary and the other is connected to B and C phase on the primary as well if I energize both tanks would I be able to phase in the secondary side without taking an outage?

No, both transformers have to be on the same phases. It won't phase out because they are 120 degrees out. Put them both on the same phase and you will be able to do it with no problem.

Rule of thumb for phasing in 2 transformers, same primary ( in this case , same 2 primaries ) , secondary voltages within 3 volts. Obviously the legs that match go together. Take the time to mark the matching legs with phasing tape, please.
