does anyone know what cal/nev jatc tests on at there climbing class?

Have you been invited to there climbing class? Have you ever climbed?

my buddy does some of the climbing classes for the apprenticship its two weeks long and they work you hard and you climb alot if you don't know how to climb they will teach you. it a good apprenticship I don't know how many climbing classes they will be having, work is slowing down in cal lately

i worked a little for cal/nev and taught a climbing class there. They will work you hard and can tell the ones who never climbed before. dont sweat it at all. they will start you off slow on short poles and work your way up. the classes are not huge so you should get some good individual instructing. Be sure and concentrate on the technique you are taught as speed and confidence will come with time (more quickly than you may think). Do not let those that have climbed before deter you, its not really that big of a deal. Come in shape cause you will be worked hard.
