Sit ups are really not good for you.
    Crunches work better.
    I jump rope,
    Free weights
And a lot of boxing exercises
One day I will start my amateur MMA career. HA! Maybe in another life.

I've been checking out a dumbell system that has a stack of weights, a dial and a shaped tray they all sit in. You turn the dial to the weight you want and when you lift the dumbell it only lifts the plates corresponding to your chosen weight, while the rest remain in the tray. It's basically a whole rack of dumbells in a single unit. Given that most of my gym exercises are dumbell based I reckon one of these could save me its cost in gym fees quite quickly.
I do a modified type of sit up that a back specialist taught me to do, and it actually helps my back a lot, I get pretty stiff when I don't do them.
I know the dumbbells you are referring to, they are a very nice system!

O00h, ooh, ooh! I wanna punching bag! I saw one in Sports Authority a few months back and told the Boss I wanted one. With a straight face he says, "Oh, I'm not good enough anymore?" Ya'll know I don't beat up on that man, but he seems to think I do!

One Christmas my brothers and I all got boxing gloves. Yes, even me. I thought it was a riot and so did my brothers. Then my mother spoke up when we got up and started trying to punch each other, "Wait!!! Santa was suppose to bring a punching bag!" My father had a twinkle in his eye, sighed and said, "Yeah, here it is." And I said, "Oh, come on daddy....let us use these on each other." And then my eldest brother caught on and said, "Yeah, we want to knock each other out first!"

It was all to tease my mother, of course. But, she didn't know that. The punching bag was my mom's idea because she said she was tired of us using each other as one. Not me so much as my brothers, but I was included. Heh.

Now with school starting, I sure could use one......

  4. Default My workout post collegue

I recently finished the college and I was in bad shape because of the finals and the internship. Hopefully, I found this article http://cassfitness.net/how-to-stay-f...-college-ends/ which explains some tips like how to schedule your workout time and trying some outdoors exercises like hiking on weekends to not get bored following only one routine. What do you do to get in shape after a few years eating bad and doing any exercises?
