Let me recount Doug and get back with you, okay? I need to send out what I have and see what I have left. If I have any left, you will be first and I'll do another thread to get rid of what I have left.

Well, I thought of making some more, that's why I asked. But, then again, I might do another one. But, before I do that one, I want to know how you feel about the artwork first.

It's gonna be pretty cool and I need to finish it. What I might do is show you all how it's progressing. 'Course that will be a whole different thread. I guess I'll put it in Political and BS. Which will be a whole different angle from what I normally do around here----which is ask questions---post about college football---and throw in some humor. Right, nuttin'.

Anyway, I'm back to doing some artwork which I haven't done in a few years now and I still would like to participate on a lineman site----without being one or in the trade.

From your perspective, with artwork printed onto a thermal bonded sheet I'm guessing white it probably the easiest for you, but my own choice of T-shirt is usually black with a white print (which is hard to do with the printed thermal sheet.)

Then again I live in a cold climate, so I don't need the thermally reflective qualities of white.

Keep in mind that as long as you give out free T-shirts people will just take them because they are free. Make it a condition that they must send you a pic of them wearing it at work in a linework evironment. That way you can use the images to promote the shirts if you start selling them on ebay or your site.

Also keep in mind that the heavyweight T-shirts are infinitely more suitable for industrial work and will last MUCH longer than the cheapies.

You are right Clive. White does show up better on print. Black not only doesn't work here, it's too hot for the south. That's why my husband goes for lighter colors in t-shirts. Which I'm sure most men in the south do.

Some of the guys here have promised to send me a pic. If I was in it for the money, I'd work harder at making some! LOL! I think I just enjoy the work and who wouldn't like others wearing their work. At least most artists. Ask my husband, I'm not an artist for making top dollar. I'm just an artist. A simple one.

Creative people are always rubbish at business.

Trust me, if you can print up some T-shirts with your artwork then get some guys to pose in them in a real lineworking environment, then I think you'll find they sell quite well on ebay. Ebay was MADE for specialist stuff like this, and the best bit is that it's all automatic and the cash is got BEFORE you receive the order.
