    Work looks to be heading our way. Earl, Fiona, etc.........Hope they don't come ashore, but if they do, what state? Batten down the hatches and good luck to those possibly in the path.

    Looks like the East Coast will get lucky with this one. According to the NHC, only tropical storm winds the 50 knot wind chart has it barely clipping the coast of North Carolina. I think the eye will stay off in the Atlantic. Tropical Storm winds look to extend into the coast but not by much either so I think NC. will escape a big one here. Of course any turn to the West would change that a ton. One thing we've learned living near the coast is that these things "wobble" in movement when they get that big and are major hurricanes.

    Yeah Josh, they are saying any slight deviation to the west and it could come ashore in N Carolina...but it is expected to turn NE and brush the coast all the way up to Canada....
