I'm scheduled for class on tuesday.
Mostly for you guys still in the trade, how are they teaching CPR nowdays? Is it chest compressions or both mouth to mouth and the compressions.....reason is because if I need to preform it on someone,I would rather use the newest technique.
I'm scheduled for class on tuesday.
We are still being taught to do both Rep
"Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity."
We use both as well.
IF IT WASN'T FOR BAD LUCK WE WOULD HAVE NO LUCK AT ALL. !
We are taught compression only now
Thanks for the info,,,In case I ever have to save someone,I dont want to start one way....get confused and do it the other way.
compression's only, they say it is better b/c it is constantly moving blood flow to all the organs.
I'll let you know later, I'm scheduled for training today........

2 breaths 30 compressions then 2 more breaths. Option is to the person performing CPR, if you don't want to give breaths it's up to you......
but remember, oxygen to the brain is vital, if you don't give the breaths, the persons oxygen level rapidly decreases. You may save them but their brain may not work anymore.......

Then they become management!
