Twas days before Christmas
and all through the city
the Line Crews worked
overhead,& underground.
They hustled and bustled
so as to give cheer
so they too could share
this Holiday season so dear.
The City was adorned
with Holiday decor
for you and I to adore.
The Lights sparkled
with such delight,
they brought happiness
to everyone
each night.
The mourning drew near
that everyone was awaiting,
when without a warning
came a winter storm
that left everyone in fear.
No heat,no lights,
no energy..
For the power went out
for you and me.
But who shall come without a glitch
but the Line Crews instead of Saint Nick.
Leaving their families during this time of need
they go into the weather for you and me.
The crews work and work as long as it takes..
to bring back the power that went out so late.
Now again without a hitch
we can watch for dear OL' Saint Nick.
So if this story does come to pass.
Don't fret, worry, or get upset
The darkness will not last.
Our Line Crews will be dispatched,
and they will take care of the rest,
cause we have The Best Of The Best!!
