No matter the time no matter the day ,

if his cell phone rings he's on the way.

whether it's raining outside or an 102 ,

he leaves in a flash cause he's got a job to do.

you see my husband is a lineman and i am his wife

he might just light up your house but he lights up my life.

He is the brave one no doubt about that

to his courage I will always tip my hat

While the wind is howling hes out in the bad weather

trying to put things back together.

Even if lightning strikes he wont flinch ,

he just climbs those poles inch by inch

and when you trimble from the horror of the storm

he's outside working to him its the norm.

and even though am at home fearing the worst

i know he is at work restoring power and that comes first.

He walks out the door being hugged and kissed

knowing just how much he will be missed,

So when he goes out I pray for god to keep him in his hand

Because God and my linemans time are both in hight demand

so if the power ever goes out and belive me it might

my super brave lineman will go off fearlessly into the night.
