Submitted By - Brittany Reeder Its the holidays and his phone rings,Its hard for him to answer because he knows what it means.
He will have to leave his family for who knows how long,
But he has to go to get the other families power on.
He has a wife and a son with another on the way,
its so hard to be so far away.
His wife cries because he has to go, but his son is so little he is to young to even know.
But as his son grows and starts to realize his Daddy is away, His Mommy will have to be there to let him know it will be okay.
Time will go by and birthdays he will miss,
but he will be home as soon as possible with wonderful gifts.
The Lineman is so strong and brave,
We all should thank them everyday!
