(near accident).WE had crews come in to our area for storm restorations.Two months later,because our area is on the coast line of Louisiana, salt contamination,which is a major problem ,caused a flash on a 34kv.circuit primary bushing on a transformer.When lineman went to work on transformer,the fuse was blown but he noticed the transformer still sizzling.The transformer had been paralleled by accident during storm restoration through the secondary re-energizing the one he was about to work on.Always use caution even when you may think the circuit is de-energized.Luckily he heard it before a serious accident occurred ...
