I work for Entergy in Louisiana, one night we were repairing four broken poles caused by a large oak tree that had fell on 336 cable. A second contract crew had been called in to assist our crew with repairs. One of the helpers was splicing a cable next to one of the cracked poles, the pole was being held up by a cable TV wire. There was plenty of trees and could not see from one pole to the next. The contractor while transferring the next pole cut the cable TV causing the pole to fall. The pole hit the roof of the house right over the helper and then hit the ground right next to him. Keep everyone informed about the situation. Be safe guys and don't take any short cuts. Short cuts usually shorten your life.
