Crew working in the sub, changing out 3 phase 600, double dead end corner pole. We were working in between 2 other circuits, so the men in the air went to cover the hot phases on the north circuit. This circuit was a slack span and crossed over the a portion of circuit that we were working with. When the jy went to cover the A phase, the wire was slapped against the B phase of the lower circuit--big flash and loud boom. Resulted with a few running grunts and reminder to check those clearances between wire.
