Slapped Phases

Re-conductoring single phase 8A line with new #2acsr. Had old 8A laid out on donkey dicks. While pulling out the slop on new wire, the acsr slapped the old 8A several spans away and took out the breaker. Lineman in bucket had one hand on the strap of hot hoist and other on the handle with no gloves on. He never felt anything, in fact we never knew it even happened until we got a a few no light calls. This was a simple job that could have killed the guy in the bucket if he had a hold of something else at ground potential. It's not hard.. Put your damn gloves on people.
