My son-in-law, Russ Harrod, died last October while working for OKAY construction in St. Cloud, Minnesota. We have not received any definitive answers regarding his death. OSHA has a lot of, "quite possibly's," likely's," and "probable's," in their report. Gins, rigs, etc, were named. All we know for sure is that a pole fell, striking his head causing his death. If anyone could give us an understandable explanation as to how he died, we would appreciate it. Russ left a wife and three children, 10, 3, and l year old. It had been explained to his wife that a piece of equipment, made by an OKAY Construction employee twenty years ago, failed. We've also been told that OKAY was warned by an employee of this saftey issue and failed to heed the warning. We would like to separate any rumors from fact. Thank you.
