Submitted By - miah Tornado blew threw town and tore up much of our system.  We were just wrapping up for the night finishing our last sevice.  A tree had fallen on top of a residential service tearing the weather head from the house.  Repairs were made at the weather head and we dead -ended service at the pole. Made neutral connection and one hot leg connection.  On the second hot leg i skinned the wire on service and on open wire sec. put my h tap on open wire and went to connect it @ sparks.  Problem was tri-plex was damaged mid span from tree limb.  Point is always check wire for damage.
