Submitted By - Daniel Mickschl Jr Every time I walk into the store room and take a deep breath Im reminded of the men Iv been honored to know. Men like Daniel Mickschl Sr. who I saw dance on the 100' pole on canal st. or Craig Cruzan who stood on a "Baker-Board" off College dr. Or Gary Gang who I heard  tell LE MYERS to "f-off",  the men who made me the lineman I am today. The true lineman of IBEW local 1393. I hope with all my heart that their legacy will not go by the wayside. All the suffering in the cold, heat and wind. Struggling to keep the publics heat on and struggling to keep their children in diapers. I see a storm on the horrizorn and I pray it passes. I remember men like Walter Yohho and Ike House who showed us how to work like men. And Bob Patton who made sure we got supper and women like Charrolette Samules who made sure all of us made it back to the room. And "Uncle Charlie Troxell" that scolded every apprentice. I pray with all my heart that this nonunion phase will pass.... It tears a hole in my heart the size of Colorado. Indiana is to precious and its legacy to great. Brothers and Sisters remember where you came from and the hope you have for your children,we are lineman.Your brother-Daniel Mickschl Jr IBEW 1393
