<<<A LINEMAN’S DAUGHTER>>>

Every night I wonder,

I hear the thunder rumble.

so loud and furious.

what is taking so long,

why isn't he home?

he is always gone when it storms,

never home to hold me and tell me its ok.

I hate it when he's gone, but I love it when he's home.

I'm put to bed by my beautiful mother,

when I ask her where he is she just says,

“he will be home soon, don't worry.”

I'm fast asleep and I hear the truck s engine,

he is finally home

no more worrying

I no he is safe now!!!

nothing to be afraid of

for my lineman daddy is home

I run and give him a huge hug

just so I no that he is there,

I shut the back door

my daddy is here to stay!!!NO STORM WILL EVER TAKE MY DADDY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you daddy

love forever
